Why would you want a mini speedsquare you may ask? There are lots of reasons to have one in the shop. For smaller widths of wood, you don’t need a regular spare nor is it easy to use a 6 inch speed square on a narrow piece of wood.
Also, you can slip the little dude into your pocket for quick access. It really makes a difference to have one handy for your jigsaw or other tools. I definitely don’t recommend using it with a skill saw – that isn’t a good idea at all. It would be very dangerous.
The video below does help you to see when you can use one. So keep this in mind and once you make it you will definitely keep it in your pocket. Very easy to make! This guy does it in less than 5 minutes.
