The workbench, as I have mentioned in previous posts, is usually the centerpiece of the workshop. You use it typically for most of your projects – or many of us do. Even if it is just to put a piece of wood on it to screw it into another piece, or to hold the workpiece while you drive a single nail into it, it will be used.
Here is a great work bench in the video below that you can build for 60 dollars or less, depending on if you have the materials for it. It is still a sturdy one, and can be modified in order to make it fit to your shop and needs.
With that in mind, if you want to add to it, such as a vise, bench dogs, stops, and more, than let r rip. I love making all kinds of additions to mine, and I know you will to. But to start with a basic one or if you have room for a secondary bench, this will work great!
